I am Vanessa. Friends call me Neh. Neh is both a noun and a verb because we all say "Neh, you are so neh!"
I don't like to talk to strangers. I love gossiping. My supernatural power is "HTHT" and I love all my friends.
You won't enjoy being my friend if you expect me to be like you!

we’re half-way thru’ ♥

Isn’t this impressive? We’re half way through the terrible A level exam journey. Hmmm, what’s really terrible is that I am not done with 3 subjects (Econs, Physics and Chem) but what’s awesome is that I have bid Maths and GP goodbye. And the best thing is that I can be cheena again! Woots.

I really love my friends, all my great, wonderful, little, short, tall, skinny, fat friends because without them, there’s no point for me to live on in school. Maybe it’s the difference in character that gives people different lives.

I know a person who has almost no friends. But she don’t seem affected by it. She continue to live on strong despite having dozens of people disliking her. She does pretty well for her exams and thinks she’s hot by wearing skirts that grow shorter by the nanoseconds to accentuate her non-existence curves. (well, it’s getting too obvious). Well, I can’t deny that I admire her courage and strength to overcome all stress and gossips against her and face one billion hypocrites around her. At least I am pretty truthful that I don’t really like her.

But she really sets me thinking about why some people can live without friends and some will die for their friends. I guess it’s one’s character that make a vast difference.

Some people live for themselves. They would assume that they’re superior. They are career-driven as some may believe that those who are successful need no friends. But, seriously, I don’t really understand the psychological explanation for this.

As for some others, they rely on their friends, care for their friends and put others before themselves. These people are simply “too nice” and they get little in return.

Hmm, looking at this two extremes, although I belong more to the second, I am glad that my friends around be belong more to the second to. Like what Sam said that day, she loves how people encourage people along our way. It’s for these friends who encourage me and push me through my difficult journey that I realise I can’t live without them.

Results for A level is a mystery but the the process present that’s why it’s a gift to be treasured. ♥
